A young woman whose urologist advised her that she had bladder cancer after removing a small tissue sample from her bladder. He then treated her with multiple infusions of modified tuberculosis bacteria that had been modified and injected into her bladder. After receiving all of the treatment a new doctor advised her that she never had cancer and that the treatment could have given her TB. She suffered from severe emotional distress.
